Indicative of my attempt to prove to the credit card companies that *yes* I use their product and *no* they should not terminate my cards, I have just purchased almost every single Truly Victorian pattern I ever wanted. (This is to say that I have a few different versions of a riding habit skirt I can draft from a book, so I didn't buy the pre-made pattern, and also that I have a bunch of their patterns already.)
Now I just need to go finish some of my not-quite-finished projects, and then I can stop overthinking and just start churning out Vickies.
(The Stripe Bustle still needs hemming, and netting, and real bustling, and oh, some better front closures. The Diggins dress still needs some damn buttons. Oh and there are a bunch of bustles and petticoats planned.)

Never been a Monroe cultist, but this is superb: "Every baby needs a da-da-daddy..."

I've had this song, from Yolanda and the Thief, in my head all week. It's my favorite Astaire piece! The Kay Kyser version is great, too.
